Hola familia!

Wow so this week was the weirdest week ever! And it flew by! So my companion had to go work on her visa papers Wednesday morning and I went to work with 2 other Hermanas in their area. It was only supposed to be for 1 day….4 days later we finally go to our area! It was insane! So I didn’t even get to work in our area at all this past week. But it was a good little break and I was with my friend Hermana Hererra she’s from Utah and we came here together. So that was a blast to work with her in her area. The only bad part was I had to sleep on the COLD HARD FLOOR! It was terrible….but the worst part was when I woke up and I felt like my lip was huge. So I ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror and sure enough…I had the biggest fat lip in my entire life. A spider had bit my lip in the middle of the night! The worst part was it was my upper lip and so it swole all up into my nose and I couldn’t breathe. Haha ok I know what youre all thinking..I have the worst of luck. And you are right! I just had to laugh. And the other two Hermanas were trying so hard not to laugh but then just lost it and we all just had to laugh together. So you can imagine that day walking in the streets talking to people…I was covering my lip when I was talking. I looked like a duck! Not even joking! We had some really fun memories together us 3 sisters. Everytime that we thought our companions were going to be coming back, we got another call saying something went wrong and they had to stay another night. I wore the same clothes for 3 days! It was terrible haha But we did have a really cool experience one day. We were walking in the streets trying to contact people, and Hermana hererra said that she had literally knocked every door in her area, but we found a street that she didn’t recognize so we started knocking doors and the first door we knocked, a lady answered with her little baby boy and she was so nice! She let us in and when we walked in, I thought I was in a house in the US….she even had a couch! I was in heaven! But she told us she didn’t believe in God which was really weird because she let three representatives of Jesus Christ into her house. But as we got to talking, we found out why she doesn’t believe in God and we were able to touch her heart and by the end we helped her feel the love of God. It was  a really cool experience.  It was interesting because I had been having a really hard time feeling the love of my Savior in my life. I can testify to others that God loves them, but I was struggling to feel that in my life. But in that lesson I felt like Heavenly Father really loved me and it was a quiet witness to me.  So that was our cool experience with the other hermanas. I was able to get a lot of great advice and I was able to help the other hermanas.  As we got to talking during the day, I realized that all missionaries go through the same things and feel the same things! I was shocked at some of the things that they said they have felt or were feeling because Ive been there too or im still experiencing those things. It was really good to just talk and know that someone else is going through the same things! The only bad part was we ended up talking in English for most of the time (which is the first time in my whole mission!) and when we went out to work I was in English mode and started talking in English to the people hahah It was the weirdest thing! So I haven’t forgotten English quite yet!

 So we didn’t have our baptism this week because we weren’t here to teach him! But he is going to be baptized this Saturday! We are really excited! Im excited for my companion to have her first baptism it’s the best feeling in the world and I know its going to give her more excitement for the work! We are setting the goal this week to have 200 street contacts because we have been learning a lot about the importance to talk to everyone and Im really excited because I know that that’s how we are going to find those who are prepared to hear this message! We are struggling to find new investigators and I think its because we have been lacking on talking to everyone. Ive already seen miracles in this concept just today. Its our pday but we have been talking to people in the grocery store and in the streets and we are finding some good people. So that’s my goal for this week! Well sorry I don’t have much to say this week because we really didn’t do much work. But im so ready to get to work this week!! Thanks for the love and emails! I love you all!
